Privacy Policy
We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we tell you exactly what we hold. This policy follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect, and why

What we deliberately do not collect
- Your card number. Card payments run through an encrypted third-party checkout. We never see or store card details. With Interac e-Transfer no card exists at all.
- A viewing history. We do not build a record of which channels or programmes you watch, and we do not profile your viewing.
- Your home address. Nothing is shipped, so we have no reason to ask.
- Government identification. We never ask for a passport, driving licence or SIN.
Cookies and analytics
This website is a set of static pages. It sets no advertising cookies, runs no third-party advertising trackers, and does not sell or share browsing data with data brokers.
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate traffic measurement to understand which pages are useful. Any such measurement is anonymous and cannot identify an individual visitor.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Payment processors, to the minimum extent needed to take and reconcile your payment.
- Our email provider, to deliver your credentials and support replies.
- Law enforcement or a court, where we are legally compelled by a valid Canadian order. We check that such requests are valid before acting on them.
We do not sell, rent, trade or licence your personal information to anyone, for any purpose, ever.
Where your data is stored
Account and support data is held on infrastructure located in Canada. Where a service provider processes data outside Canada, it is bound by contract to protect it to a standard comparable to that required by PIPEDA, and it may be subject to lawful access requests in that country.
How we protect it
- All traffic to this website is encrypted with TLS.
- Account credentials are stored hashed, not in plain text.
- Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it to do their job.
- Logs are automatically deleted on the schedule set out in the table above.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you;
- Access a copy of it;
- Correct it if it is wrong;
- Withdraw consent and ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for tax purposes;
- Complain if you think we have handled it badly.
To exercise any of these, email help@supportiptv.ca. We respond within 30 days, as PIPEDA requires, and there is no charge.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, please tell us first — most issues are resolved quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Children
Our service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be emailed to active subscribers.
