Every Canadian time zone handled correctly
Most IPTV guides are built for a single time zone and get Canada wrong. In 2026 British Columbia, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Manitoba stopped changing their clocks, so here is where every region stands now.
| Time zone | Regions | Example cities |
|---|---|---|
| UTC−7 all year | Most of British Columbia, Yukon | Vancouver, Victoria |
| UTC−6 all year | Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories | Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon |
| UTC−5 all year | Manitoba | Winnipeg |
| Eastern: UTC−5 winter, UTC−4 summer | Ontario, Quebec | Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal |
| Atlantic: UTC−4 winter, UTC−3 summer | Nova Scotia, NB, PEI | Halifax, Moncton |
| Newfoundland: UTC−3:30 winter, UTC−2:30 summer | Newfoundland | St. John's |
From 1 November 2026, only Ontario, Quebec, the Atlantic provinces and Newfoundland still fall back an hour. The guide shows listings in your device's local time, so keep your TV or streaming device updated. (BC's East Kootenay region follows Alberta, at UTC−6 all year.)
Coverage questions
Do you cover every province and territory?
Yes. All ten provinces and all three territories. Our delivery servers sit in Toronto and Montreal and reach the whole country over ordinary internet. There is no cable line to lay and no dish to point, so geography does not limit you the way it does with traditional television.
Does it work in rural and remote areas?
Yes, provided your connection reaches 15 Mbps. Many of our rural members are on fixed wireless, rural fibre or Starlink, and the service runs well on all three. If your connection is slower than that, tell live support and we will set you to a lower bitrate stream that still looks good on a normal television.
Is the TV guide correct for my time zone?
Yes, and this is something most services get wrong. The guide shows every programme in the local time of your device, including the half-hour offset in Newfoundland and the regions that no longer change their clocks: Saskatchewan and Yukon, and since 2026 most of British Columbia, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Manitoba. Keep the software on your device up to date so it knows about the 2026 changes; a device that has not received that update can show listings an hour off until it does.
What if I move to another province?
Nothing needs to change and you do not need to tell us. Your login is not tied to an address. Move from Calgary to Halifax and it keeps working — just switch your regional group inside the app so your local channels match the new city.
Can I use it outside Canada?
Yes. Your login works on any internet connection anywhere in the world. Canadians who spend winter in Florida or Arizona keep watching their home channels exactly as they would at home, with the same guide and the same favourites.
